See thats what I thought too, thats why i tried running each on their own seperate leads from the power supply, figured that would get it done...nope

Ok, I am going to give this a shot. If this gets too scientific let me know.

Depending on the color of the lights, the problem may get better or worse. If your cathodes flash to music or other vibrations, it can be even borderline dangerous. The cathode creates what is known as the “disco” effect inside your case. It does not affect the CPU or GPU because they are most likely busy working. But many of the other components in you case are not fully utilized so they are more easily caught up in this phenomenon. The atoms that make up the components that are under utilized will become easily distracted by the lights. As they get drawn in to the disco affect, they start to move, one could say they dance. This dancing motion causes atoms to collide, which causes a chain reaction and the next thing you know, there is a party going on in your system. All this molecular movement can produce quite a bit of extra heat.

My suggestion would be to put you rig to work folding, it will keep your system occupied and less easily distracted by the light show.

Other than that, I don’t have a clue.

What if they dont bounce to music? Thats pretty scientific, impressive knowledge none the less...

Does putting the sensor right by it, make is rise even more? I wonder, do they release enough EMI to effect it?

I've heard that cathode releases static electricity when lit, it might be affecting your sensors...

Either that or the Ultraviolet rays would cause a heat up...kinda like how light makes a room warm up fast...
