Very good, CPU, RAM and cooler...but I'm not sure about the mobo, so let that over to other people. And consider a 2900xt, only 20 bucks more...and in my opinion better performance than the 640mb 8800gts. But that's my opinion, get the 8800 then if you really want it, it's a good gpu too.

I would recommend Asus P35/p5k Over Gigabyte's P35.

I have Gigabyte P35 DS3P and while it's an excellent board, it looks like the p5k has the better options and more potential for great OC's.

If you have the money, switch over the P5k

Agreed and for that price I would get some crucial ddr2 8500 from mwave. After the mir its cheaper then the HZ and will overclock far better.

Also check out mwave for the antec 900, I think it was 106 over there but am not sure about shipping cost but warrants a investigation.

Also if you don't like MIR, Buy.com has them for like 140.00 out the door. Not sure how much mWave sells the 2 x 1gb kits for.

I know that people will say you don't need 1066, but I decided that I didn't want my memory holding me back from higher OC's; that's a call you might have to make for j00self.

True but running a P35 chipset you can easily use the other ram dividers so you can get some great bandwidth and speeds. WHich I really like personally.

I would have to aggree on the stretch to the Asus P5k, but I'm a big Asus fan so I might just be a little biased.
And just to fuel your anticipation a little more...the Antec 900 case is awesome. I freaking love mine!

Just like it was suggested before, the ASUS P5K-Deluxe will be also a great choice, but I'm not saying the GIGABYTE isn't.

Don't worry about DDR3 yet, performance wise there isn't any from going 2 to 3 and, DDR3 may become handy in about a year or two but now? Not the time, too early.

Overall, it's going to be a nice rig that will have a very long life.
