Memory Problem on P5B Deluxe

Thread Starter
I just finished building my new rig, but it's having memory problems.
Specs:
Conroe E6420
P5B Deluxe (with updated bios)
G.Skill 2x2Gb DDR-800 RAM
Dual Boot of XP 32-bit and Vista 32-bit

The problem is both versions of Windows and the BIOS can only detect 2gb of RAM. I've tried every possible re-arrangement, and I've used just one stick at a time to make sure one isn't faulty. Both sticks work fine by themselves, but together the computer only detects 2GB. I've also tried the Memory Remapping feature in the BIOS, but that doesn't change anything. Any ideas?

i know 32bit XP wont see 4gb. most apps only show 2, some will show 3, but not 4. i think vista 32bit is the same. although you should see 4gb installed in bios.

Yeah, that's actually quite odd. 32 bit XP can only see 3.5GB of ram. Though I've heard of some programs only showing 2 before. Does properties of 'my computer' say 2 as well?

Yeah, everything says 2Gb, even the BIOS. That's why I have no idea what's going on with it.
