Ghost Build Suggestions?

Thread Starter
First off, this is going to start as a proposal for work. What I need is a machine to perform remote Ghosting. Basically it's going to be used to re-image machines at work from our IT facility.

How it will be setup:
1) Single smallish HDD for the OS and Apps
2) 2x 500 GB in RAID 0 for the images (Might go 0+1 with 4x 500GB)
3) Rest of it normal, probably won't need video card if the board has onboard

What I need:
1) 2x 500 GB SATA drives for RAID 0. (Might consider 0+1 with 4x 500 GB)
3) Motherboard, case, CPU (maybe), PSU

What I have:
1) 40-80GB SATA HDD for OS and Apps
2) 4GB+ Kingston DDR2
3) Pentium something or another LGA 775, but CPU isn't set in stone. It will not be OC'd at all.

At the moment, I'm looking at 2 of those Samsung Spinpoints for the 500GB aspect.

Looking for suggestions so I can put the proposal up! (Cheap is gooder, btw )

Is this machine going to store data long term? Or do you plan to store the image for a few hours/days?

You might want to check out the brand new Seagate 7200.11. By beat the 7200.10 pretty nicely on paper. They come in 500GB, 750GB?, and 1TB Waiting for reviews.
Once again...

Probably longterm. We store images for generic machines and work with a couple thousand computers total.

Here's my dilemma at the moment...

I can't find a cheap LGA775 motherboard that supports RAID and has at least 4 SATA ports. Any ideas/suggestions?

you don't want raid 0, raid 1 would be better for storage or 0+1 at LEAST

For the moment, it's just a concept build. If the budget is approved, we'll probably try to get 0+1.

for a stock file server i'd get a x2 3600+ at stock its faster than all but c2d's and alot cheaper

What I'm looking at right now is:

Case: Cheap Rosewill one
Motherboard: Micro ATX Foxconn
Power Supply: Silverstone 350w A lot more power than I need, but it's pretty much the cheapest "good" brand I could find with enough SATA connectors

Anything you'd change before I order this?
