Do you use VOIP (like vonage) or is your wireless secure or shared with someone else in the house? p2p progs are notorious interlopers with bandwith also. One more possibility is what processes are running and have access to internet that could be using bandwith. If you have broadband (cable) check your fittings and remove any splitters if possible, or at least use a 2way splitter or if not possible, move the modem line to the splitter port labelled 3.5dB which might help.. shotgunning

Well i've just set my PC to bassically bypass any of the routers doings to see if that helps.

And Pig69 i have checked everything that may be running etc and nothing that would interfere is running

Cheers for the help guys will try the DMZ thing out now

Wireless huh? I've also had problems when wireless. I only play now on broadband/cable with no probs.

Hi dmhnc, i tried it wired the other night actually and still got the same problems.

I reformatted yesterday and bf2 was installed even before Video Drivers lol, but i still ocasionally get the Connection Error even on a Wired connection.

We are still working on this problem. Hopefully we find a solution before Ace gives up on Bf2.
