Thread Starter
okay im thinking of either going with one of these, im leaning towards the ds3r because it has 4 sata connectors , but which one will i get the best bang for the bux.

GA-965P-DS3(rev.1.3)
or
GA-P35-DS3R

i'll be running a 8800gts so mobo sli with 2cards probably wont be needed
also what memory is compatible. TIA.

go for the GA-P35-DS3R.

the GA-965P-DS3 can hold a 1066mhz fsb, and 800mhz memory.
the GA-P35-DS3R can hold a 1333mhz fsb, and 1066mhz memory.

and they both have SATA, you will really want to spend the few extra dollars for the GA-P35-DS3R.

and as for memory, pick PC2-6400 or PC2-8500, and try to pick memory with some form of heat coolers or spreaders. have a look into these memory...
