I've tried a cmos clear, reseating ALL of the heatsinks (CPU, NB, GFX), a different video card, different HDDs, different RAM, tested the PSU with a multimeter, and I even ripped the mobo out of the system to see if there was any damage to it (Which there was none). I last thing I remember doing is trying to oc my xp-m a little farther, I think I was running 212x12.5 @ 1.675v w/ 57c full load the last time it was running. I took off the hsf to clean it up a little bit, and when I put it back on a couple days later (I got lazy) it stopped posting, no bios beeps, just fans spinning and HDDs starting up. Anyone have any ideas on whats wrong with my system? I'm thinking it's the CPU, maybe I pushed it too far.
Hmm.. I think it's cpu bro. 1.6 volts is quite mild for a socket A overclock, but over time it could result in processor death. Your motherboard seems to be posting, are there any beeps? Have a speaker plugged in? Try that and tell us the beeps.
EDIT: By the way, the volcano was a pretty hefty heatsink to be placed on a cpu with no IHS, I had one and it chipped my core and broke my cpu, and I had the same results as you *fans spinning, nothing else*. That could be it, inspect your CPU for any telltale signs of a bad cpu. E.g. burn marks, chipped core, any physical change to the cpu.
