I don't know the law, but looking from America's top two monopoly cases, Microsoft and AT&T it seems that the punishment is a splitting of the company or changing its product to make it less monopolizing, and huge fines.

Who called you a fanboy? A lot of people are misunderstanding my opinion, perhaps I need to reword things. I don't care what you own and who makes it, just as I don't care who has the best performing hardware out at the moment, BUY what is BEST, that is my philosophy. I'm only disgusted with certain people on this forum and beyond that nitpick every little thing they can grasp because they are die hard AMD fans and boo intel for progress!

Calm down AMD boys, I'm not attacking you.

And Intel isn't trying to crush AMD, they're just running with their new found excellence. They took a beating on Pentium being crap for sooo many years and they finally pulled off something special. To be honest, AMD should have done what Intel is doing now and taken advantage of having the performance crown when they had it to move onward instead of waiting around raking it in.

I feel for AMD, they are under a HUGE amount of pressure, but at the same time, Intel will NOT smother them out. The bigwigs at Intel know better than to obliterate competition, do you think none of them know that monopoly is illegal? I'm excited for Barcelona, I really can't wait to see what it can prove, because it really has a LOT riding on it's shoulders right now.

EDIT: BTW Licht, Bel Air, California or Bel Air, Maryland?
I am so glad you are in on Intel's internal roadmaps. Care to fill us in?

I'm not gonna pretend I have a clear understanding of what these bugs can or will do. I do know that from day 1, my wife's machine wouldn't shut down without resetting the damn thing first. This is with 3 separate motherboards. Any of you think that this might be the cause of this?

Yeah - I'd replace the word kindness with.. "fair competitiveness" though.

But... yeah, I sort of agree on that one.
