Hi guys,

Since a week im having mouse problems. Every mouse i hook up to the ps/2 slot, wont work properly. The cursor lags for 2/3 seconds and the cursor disapears then. I haven't gotten my hands on a usb mouse yet to try that, but maby some quick thoughts?

Thanks a lot.

Try another ps/2 mouse. it might be an OS issue!

Check it in the "Device Manager" for any conflicts then perhaps removing the device in the "Device Manager" then reboot to reconfig it. Or as you have said, USB mouse would eliminate any possible PS2 issue.

Could be a chipset issue. I know that the 680i needed a BIOS update to get PS/2 to work (and it still doesn't always work).
Once again...

Have you checked for newer MB drivers?
Here is an oddity, I've seen mice that act odd when there is power issues, are you sure your PS is stable?
