You should not need any type of board, you just need to wire the LED's so they match up the voltage you want to supply them with. Just siries parallel wire the led's until they = the voltage you are going to give them.

UV bulb are usually around 3.2v... powered by a ATX PSU .... that's 3 LEDs.

The protoboards makes it easy to wire a 12"x.5" stripe.

The eBay LEDs are cheaper to buy than the individual ones off parts-express, wondering how I could wire up 24 LED's to a few Molex adapters...

Duckie, I could do that, too. I would need a few 12v lines going to the board, though.

Might be a little overkill, but oh well, who cares. I can make a few for members if they want.

Now, to find breadboard. I can get that stuff at Radioshack, right? I was thinking of putting 4 LED's in a "packet" and wiring that to a Molex, does that sound safe?

You should be able to wire all 24 LED's to one 12v line use them in 6 strings of 4 bulbs each the strings of 4 should be in series, and the 6 sets should be parrelled together. The LED's pull extreemly low current, and should have no problem running off of one 12v power source. Since they are low current you could prob... use cat5 cable to wire them due to the amount of wires you will need.

That is correct, however, I would recomend running 18ga speaker wire for the main power wire. then you can use the cat5 from that point. Keep in mind an led is a "light emiting diode", so you must make sure to start- that LED1 starts with + to the + wire, then the - wire of LED1 goes to LED2's + wire and so on until you end with the - wire. Due to the fact that they are a diode, polarity is very improtant.
