Yet, the E6600 will annihilate it.

labrat63;

I'd suggest getting the ASUS P5K-Deluxe, better chipset overall than what the P5W-DH has. And overclocks better.

Unless you're going with a 64-bit OS (and get ready to download all the 64-bit drivers as well, because 23-bit won't work), yes, the 4GB of RAM will be good but otherwise?
Get the G.SKILL HZs DDR2 800, a 2GB will be enough.

Power supply, the TT is okay but there's something better for a little less, like the PC Power & Cooling 610W EPS12V: http://www.pcpower.com/products/view...hp?show=S61EPS
$147.25 will buy you a PSU that's capable of running a Quad-Core system with 8800 GTX in SLI.

Everything else seems okay.

looks solid

but id say 8800 GTS 640 mb, or GTX

2gb of memory, is still fairly pointless for a gamer.

why do u need 2 DVD burners??

and isnt there a new version of the e6600?

The e6600's are hitting poor clocks right now FYI. The e6420's are probably hitting the best clocks right now out of the Core 2 Duo's.

Cant say that I believe that. I have a week 49G E6600 and it runs 3.24GHz with 1.21v 18hrs stable!

I like it. Go with the 8800GTX if you're willing to spend 2-3K on a PC.

Your power supply is good.

The motherboard is good, proven reliable and excellent overclocker.

Not sure about Samsung HD's, but everything else seems great.
