And is that personal experience or from the review? I've got 3 sapphire cards they're all bad. And I do have similar card w/ the original ATI brand it works perfectly. And I think you just think that they're not cheap quality, but do you know for sure that they're not cheap quality? Perhaps maybe you're just pretending that you knows much about them.

I dont know, that's why I was asking I've never heard any more bad things about Sapphire than I have about any other card maker.

Well I used to have an X1900XTX from sapphire, I tried to overclock the card just a little bit and it dies, I had to RMA, I got another one sent to me and I tried to increased the memory speed, like you would have guess, it dies again. My brother have the ATI brand (I gave it to him) and it ran for more than 1 year and it is still good. I've recently bought a X1650 sapphire brand from new egg and I couldn't do much with it except to return for the 15% restocking fee thing. Owells.

Got one of the first batch of Sapphire X800XT's. The image quality was just plain beautiful and the performance was unlike anything I had ever seen... for about twelve hours. RMAed it and bought a Connect3D. Image quality was not as good, but it's been in five different machines and is currently in my cousin's Celeron.

I had a Saphire 9600XT back in the day and it was the bomb. Used for over a year and overclocked all with no problems. Just my one experience with a Saphire brand card. BTW I think Saphire makes the ATI cards for ATI.

Actually PC Partners make the Sapphire cards and something like 60% of all ATI cards manufactured. I'll see if I can't dig up that article I just read.

Still, Sapphire is a very well know Brand. They make quality cards...if they didn't they probably wouldn't be respected and in business for that matter.
