Which RAM? They both look good.

I'm leaning towards buying this memory:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220144

But this memory looks just as good:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820146565

But I'd like some extra input from people that have used either or both products.

You know all the hype about the Black G.Skill DDR2 800 HZ? Well, the Ballistix perform just as well.

I vote for the Ballistixs.

Thanks for the input. After reading the reviews I've begun to lean more towards these.

go for the patriot... i have this stuff and it is great. not many people realize it but these patriot sticks are D9's. i've done 900mhz with them at 4-4-4-12. 700mhz at 3-3-3-6. and i've taken them over a thousand mhz. i cant believe how cheap it is now. when i got my first gb it cost me $125. now it is half that for 2gb. just get the patriots

it is a type of integrated chips in the ram that is very well known for overclocking very high with tight timings. both the patriots and the ballistix are D9's but the patriots are a ton cheaper.

Crucial Ballistix; at the moment they look just as good as HK's for oc'ing.

Patriot is not a bad choice either, but the Ballistix will hit the higher clocks most likely.

HK's are bad overclockers. HZ's are very good though

Yeah the ballistics do really well also. I pulled close to 500mhz at 4-4-4-12 and topped at 565mhz 5-5-5-15 when I was running mine. They do really good also but the patriots if you get them with d9 are good also. Its jsut eh ballistics you are going to get d9 chips.
