In Photoshop, go to Image> Mode> RGB. Save it as a jpeg, then try to upload it.

Backtrack through the history before the save. When you are ready to save as a jpeg, go to File> Save for web> on the right hand side select "JPEG" and "MAXIMUM", that should save with the highest quality. Or you can save it as PNG-24, but that saves as a larger filesize.

I've never personally used that file, though I'm sure that many people here have. If you want upload the .psd*, I might be able to sort the problem out.

Edit: I meant if you want to upload the .psd.
