1. I understand number one, but I reassured myself with the fact that you can connect to a router making it free. But this is something you have to decide for yourself.
2. I get 2.
3. I don't understand how this is in any way a watered down internet aside from not being able to copy/paste.
4. 3rd party apps, well we don't know yet. Apple says there will be plenty but they havent released an sdk so this is wait and see. So neither of us are right yet.
5. Again this is up to the user, but why do you prefer windows mobile 6 over osx? It doesn
t really matter to me as long as it works.
6. The GUI is easy to use but the keyboard isn't. Half right.
A link to the comics.
Yeah but I can connect to wifi on a crappy 8125 that costs me 99.99 and even though it has a 1.3mp cam it can at least take vids...
I want to copy and paste. It makes life a lot easier sometimes and for 600 damn right I should be able to copy and paste.
There is a lot missing from the internet that the iphone doesn't support such as different plugins that many sites use. I believe flash is one of them.
I prefer WM6 only because it's already out and things are developed for it. I'm sure something will be released in time but when it is, then talk to me about buying it.
Also WM6 works with Word, Excel and syncs with my Outlook express easy and I have a lot of contacts. The iPhone does non of that. So yeah, I prefer WM6 but it's just to damn laggy with the outdated hardware on most phones today. If the iPhone has good hardware, match it with WM6 and you have an AMAZING phone.
Okay my mistake. GUI looks nice and yeah. The keyboard is one of the main features of a smartphone. I assume you will get used to it in time but the learning curve I had with a Cingular 8125 was about 5 minutes.. How long will this take me?
So in all:
Wifi is not new, almost every smart phone has it so is it worth an extra 300? Nope.
Vids, yeah yeah.
3G.. Still want it as there isn't always a good wifi connection everyplace that is open, also technically if there was I would be leeching
3rd Party apps are not out yet which makes me angry and won't be for a while.
WM6 is well developed by now. Many apps are out for it. It syncs with most of my things..
I can't edit word documents on the iPhone only view em. BS.
Keyboard has too long of a learning curve but if I pay 600$ for the phone I'll sit there for days 'till I get it so yeah..
WM6 hardware phones are slow and laggy. If they put it on the iphone hardware it would be amazing, fast, and super nice.
Also may it work with x64 Windows..

Technically it's not that expensive.. I mean it's overpriced but still. Most new smartphones when released where in this price range.. But still comparing to other phones on the market with similar or greater specs the iPhone is just not the economical choice. Fashionable yes, don't get me wrong it's a beauty but in the business world looks mean nothing.
Sucks all these teens will be all over it.
