Transfer game from one Steam account to another?

As the title says, is this possible? Say I've got DOD:S on my account, and I know somebody with GMod10. I want Gmod, and they want DOD. Could we simply remove the games local files and swap CD keys, or will Steam flip out?

sorry chipp but the news isnt good. i tried to get the same thing done about 3 months ago, i emailed their tech support and they claimed you are only allowed the games to be registered to 1 account. it means that when i want to play css i have to change account.

theyve done it so people dont pirate the games (even though its been done)

There is no possible way to do this. The games are bound to that account.

Contact steam, they may be able to helpyou. But dont hold your breath

EDIT: Or maybe contacting steam doesn't help

I think you can trade games, but there is a 10$ processing fee for steam to move the ownership from one account to another.
