that might be that not every program works. if I design a 16 bit program or make a 32bit driver I can't say it's now the os's fault that it doesn't work. if I know the setup of the os and how the os works and what it needs to work and then build something else is it really the fault of the os?

doesn't 64bit have other advantages also for programs designed to use it?
