Leave it to Thermaltake to come up with a great concept and half-ass it.Those fins will completely kill the flow. The heat pipes need to be bent down so that the liquid can run right through the fins. Putting c-shaped heat pipes on their sides and attaching fins vertically instead of horizontally would probably make this design very effective. The liquid would be absorbing heat from the block and both heat pipes. But the way they did it the heated liquid can't escape fast enough to make a difference.
I think someone is going to have test this on something that doesn't suck - maybe we're going to have to enclose a tuniq tower or XP120 and see what happens
