Thermaltake Armor Case ? - Page 4

It's odd to me how an extended psu is so hard to fit in the Armor. You have to first unscrew the bracket that holds up the usb, firewire, and mic connectors first. I would think it should fit right in. Another thing is the retention bracket that holds down the pci cards is pretty worthless and extremely cheap. My other problem with it is the second hard drive cage. Putting it in front of the exhaust fan would block airflow (I'm thinking if you put hard drives in it.).

I don't think the top optional exhaust fan fits if you put an extended psu in, and it doesn't look like it will do much because the holes on top are pretty small.

Other than all that, it's a good case. A lot of space.

Yes I agree, it took some serious fiddling to install my 750. The Armor is not the only case with issues fitting a non ATX standard size PSU. You need to remember, most case are designed to fit a standard ATX size PSU, with the move to larger PSU's recently they may make some design changes.
The PCI bracket is junk, not many people use it, screws FTW.
I have 3 HDDs in the top cage, my fan is an intake.

Name one. I sure as hell can't.

I love my Armor with all my heart. Its only fault, other than being hard to carry, is that it's not great for cable management.

Was that directed at me? Because if it was, none of those are even close to the Armor's price range except the Antec 900, which is not better, and is mid-tower.

I have two HDD's in the rear HDD cage. My PSU and the 90mm fan up there both exhaust. I can feel (cool) air coming out of both. My PSu is about five inches long, so I dunno about the large PSU problem.

i would go ahead and pick up that armor its an AMAZING case and you seem to like the way it looks so why not????

sure alot of people have it but alot of people have core 22s as well and why is that????
because like the armor core 2s kick ass
you can always mod it as well to make it look different ad cathodes of whatever color and all that good stuff to make it unique
