Dianostic Tool?

Thread Starter
Well I was wondering if there was somekind of diagnostic tool I could run on my computer to make sure everything is working properly....

It has been slowing down sometimes and I just dont think Im getting the juice I deserve out of my system. The side panel fan also as nearly stopped working, or sometimes if i tap the case it just barly starts spinning. I have tried changing out which power connector it uses to see if it was a power issue but it has the same problem..

My specs are below... Thanks!

I don't specifically know what you're asking for, but you can run some becnhmark programs such as 3DMark06 and compare scores with similar computer specs from other users. I score 8700 with everything at stock and 11,000 with E6400@ 3.2Ghz - GTS 640MB @ 655/2040

Also scan your computer for malware. AVG Anti-Virus, Ad-Aware SE, Spybot: Search & Destory, CCleaner, Advanced WindowsCare V2 Personal.

I don't know how the side panel fan can relate to performance issues.

One of the faqs i read on this site (ask me if you want the link) suggested running anti-virus software with windows in safe mode with command prompt.
Also, if ur hard drive has a lot of stuff on it (over 30GB), then maybe a disk defrag might be the idea.
I'd suggest using CCleaner (http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/) for just general drive/registry clean out.

I don't believe that it is a problem with components...
