So it's possible Nvidia will come out with the new 9800's this year?
Hmm, that's pretty cool. I wonder if ATI can redeem themselves....

What an 8800gtx blows away x1950XTX in any benchmark. Even in Crossfire!

I think I'll take my chance with the 8800GTS 640.. If you've seen the crysis G80 presentation, wich was run on 1 GTX, i'd say the performance is pretty good.
Yes I noticed the framerate wasn't exactly astounding high, but the game was still in Alpha phase.. so the framerate will prolly get a lot better.

And the 8800 will run every dx9 game you throw at it at max settings, and DX10 won't be mainstream for another year probably, so untill then I'm fine, and I'll just sell it when I really want to upgrade again.

I could also wait for the new generation, but no one really knows when they're going to be released, and my X850XT is really holding me back now (more in no SM3 support than framerate..)
