Monitor resolution and SLI

Thread Starter
For a future PC i am going to build ive been looking at this monitor http://www.directcanada.com/products...ustomerreviews ive heard good reviews about it. However, i also hear that SLI is recommend for resolutions that are greater than 1680x1050. The thing is i dont think ill have enough money for SLI, do you guys think getting a smaller rez monitor will be better when only using 1 GPU?

I run 1680x1050 using my 7900gt...and my vmod'd 7600gs. Go for the big screen..screw 2 vid cards. Smaller is never better...besides, 1024x728 is still going to look better on the big screen.

I've got that exact monitor, with a single 7950GT, and its perfect. 100% recommended, go for it!

That res will be just fine.

Your specs say you've already got dual 7900GTXs... >.>
