What clocks/timings reached on Ballistix DDR2 800s? - Page 3

I personally am using the same ballistix in a different manner. I am running (actually was, am down for the moment) at 600mhz with 3-2-2-4 timings and 1.93 volts. This was for an E4300 at 2.7ghz.
LOL I would liek to see a screen shot of that one dude. Ballistics are good but I dont think they are that good.

ALso for the different ram sets 800's, 1000, 1066 sets they have different binned chips. They are all d9gmh but there will be a number on the chips like -25f on the 800 and -18f on the 8500. This relates to how good of a binning they are with the -18f being the best you can get.

Man I can't seem to get this baby to boot past 333 MHz (all the way into Windows)....I'm not really sure what I should do. I set the following settings last night, to no avail:
VCore= 1.450V
FSB Terminal voltage: 1.40V
CPU PLLV: 1.50V
NBV: 1.55 I think....second from the top in the BIOS
SBV: max
Any ideas?

I'm calling BS on that one! WOA either that or a mobo that reports the wrong VDIMM...

EDIT:
I'll drop my multi to 7X and set the FSB accordingly....I'll run a bandwidth test and see what's up. It makes total sense that I would get more bandwidth with a higher FSB...

EDIT:
Wouldn't boot at 428...which is the same OC on the CPU. Memory was only a little faster, but not enough to prevent booting.

the 800s and 1000s of the ballistix are the same chips.
800s - 4-4-4-12
1000s - 5-5-5-15

the 1066s do have better chips. that is correct.

as for the screen shot, i will provide it as soon as I get the system up and running again (thursday/friday; the hard drive failed and needed to be replaced).

I was surprised as well. But they were cruising. and at a 1T command rate.

HOw did you run it at 1T? I thought that was impossible...
If you have it running at those timings/speeds, then hats off you ya!

Actually it defaulted to the 1T command rate when I started it up. I was shocked. It is actually an AUTO 1T setting on the EVGA 650i ultra. And it just makes me like the mobo more and more.

I had mine up to 1100 mhz @ 5-5-5-5-18 @ 2.2V. Im sure I could have pushed them harder with more volts.

Right now I am running them at 970mhz w/ 4-4-4-4-14 and its also rock stable at 2.2 volts.

Cool. What bandwidth are you getting at that speed/those timings? I get a little over 6500 Mb/s....not that great.

First kit I had did DDR2-1250 2.25v CL5-4-4-4 no problems. They died.
Second kit didn't even do DDR2-900, so I RMAed.
This kit I'm not entirely sure, but it seems to max out at DDR2-1050. Then again, my board is cripple at the moment, so it could be very possible that the board is the limiting factor.

Well I thought that I'd update my little thread. I haven't spent any time optimizing the secondary timings, but I've read that Intel memory controllers benefit from frequency rather than tight timings.....so I'm climbing the MHz scale slowly here. I only ran HCI memtest to %90 or so, but the second screenshot is all day....rock solid. Timings in the first are shown, and the only secondary is Trc, which I set to 32 I believe.....I really want Rightmark to support this chipset.

Here is my rock solid stability at DDR2-1000 5-5-5-13. I could run a bench with the last RMAd sticks at 4-4-4-15 DDR2-1000 but I can't boot (can post though) at 4-4-4-15 Trc 42 at DDR2-1000....
