Info: Deathadder USB Device Not Recognised - Page 4

This happened to my first Deathadder after trying to upgrade the firmware/drivers. I got an RMAd one and just never upgraded the firmware or drivers; 3 years in and I haven't had a problem since. *knocks on wood*

Razer products are great...if you do not use the Razer firmware updates or Razer drivers. HAHA

4 years in and it still hasn't been fixed.

Didn't install the driver for 4 years, had no problems.

Install it just for fun.

Raped.

This makes me not want to buy another Razer. :\

But I know I will. o.O

I hope the new mice have reset buttons cause this is retarded.

Clearly the guy searched the problem on Google, found this thread and made an account just to comment without realizing how necro this thread is.

The same thing just happened to me and my mouse is dead. It stopped working when I was switching users in Windows (from one profile to other). Then, my mouse have to change sensitivity and something went wrong. I have no receipt for my Deathadder 3.5G, so all whan I can do is watching my dead hardware.

After 3 years of great service my mouse finished its contract with me the moment I plugged it into my USB socket while simply trying to reseat it. Sudden smell of wire-burn and some smoke. "device not recognised" and only glowing mousewheel. I was sure something like this would never happen to me. To be honest: It is the first malfunctioning PC hardware for me EVER and it sucks it had to be the best mouse I have had the honor to own. RIP my little mousey.

PS: this thread shall not die as long as there are Deathadder owners.
