^ JBLs are quality speakers. You might pay a little more though.

I don't know the prices in other country's, but in the Netherlands where I live, I can get a set of JBL SCS140's for around $130, with the current exchange rate. I don't know if this can be compared with eachother cause of different taxes etc, but they are in the same category as the Z5300, the JBL's are even 10 bucks cheaper

Good to know. And they put out a lot of power, too!

If we're talking a PC speaker set, I would have to give the nod to Klipsch(still), unless you're digital, then the Logitech would be the way I'd go.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Klipsch only makes 2.1 and 2.0 pc-speaker systems? Namely the ProMedia series and the Groove PM20? And to get 5.1 you would have to look at their home-cinema range, and with that you are talking about much larger bills. Think the B2's (which are the cheapest bookshelfs) start around $150. I could be completely wrong about this, but thats what I thought.

I agree with you though, Klipsch makes excellent products, but especially in the more powerfull speakers they tend to get very pricey.

Don't want to bash or flame you, but I don't think the topic starter is really helped with you only saying z-5500. If you would explain why you think he should get the system you propose, what are the pro's and cons. If we all just name a system, we'd have 20 different systems and the topic starter isn't the wiser.
