sound help!!

Thread Starter
I just got done fixing my computer for the over 9000th time. the video card was being lame and would only work while my computer was laying down on its side.

I fixed that by puttin all the risers in and that seem to solve that problem.

SOMEHOW... it caused a new one.

my sound on my motherboard doesnt work anymore.
the sound in the front of my case crapped out. and the sound in the back of my computer crapped out.

ive tried short of smearing peanut butter and taking a flamethrower to my computer.

i tried re installing motherboard drivers. ive tried tons of speakers / headphones. ive tried resetting the CMOS (for some reason). Ive tried a knew wire for the speakers. ive tried EVERYTHING. i unplugged the front auido ports to see if that was shortin out the others somehow. Ive tried my speakers on my ipod.

the sound card still shows up on my computer and everthing

i think i need to get a new soundcard.

if theres anything else that i can do to get it to work pleeeeeeease tell me
