Any tips/reccomendations/ideas/warnings?

Anything would be awesome. I am totally new to the OS, and I am really excited.

Um... If it's 2007, then you might have a problem with the fonts. For some reason they were hard for me to read. Also, if you're running RAID, i don't think it's gonna be able to utilize it out of the box.

I don't mean to change the topic or say Mandriva is bad (cuz it isn't), but Fedora 7 is a great too, almost a complete OS, and it can RAID right out of the box.

Should I download Fedora 7? Is it a free one? I am not using RAID. The fonts in the installer are fine, but I haven't gotten to the installed OS yet...

It is installing right now. It says 2 minutes left...

I kinda went nuts with the partitions. I think I have three.

A linux native, a linux swap, and a journaled something under /usr

EDIT: I take that one back, I think it is two hours...
