New Nvidia Drivers Mess Up CSS!! HELP PLZ!

Thread Starter
I just installed the latest drivers for the 7800GT vista32bit drivers and now when I play CSS frequently my game freezes and then about 20 seconds later goes back to normal but a little window pops up in the bottom right of my desktop saying the video drivers have failed. This never happened before I installed the latest Nvidia drivers. Just wondering what I can do to fix it or if I can download the older drivers from somewhere. Also this happens in other games too not just CSS.

what does that have to do with his driver issue? +1 there, and I don't see what the OS has to do with Nvidia and their drivers.

noahmateen1234, run driver cleaner pro and install the last version you had and see if that helps. Sometimes I get that error when it's overclocked too much.

You can download older drivers from www.guru3d.com and also you can try the xtreme g's from www.tweaksrus.com. Hope that helps.

if the only thing you changed was your driver, that is most likely your problem. like Paradox said, you need to make sure you erase all previous drivers from your system if you're having problems. once that is done, try going back to the older driver you had before this mess started. this is why video card makers recommend you don't bother updating your drivers unless you're having problems.
