My final loop (for now :p) - Page 3

Would it possibly work to get cut lengths of acrylic tubing of the correct ID and just tap them for barbs directly? Maybe use something with a larger size than G1/4 for the threading for instance. You would probably need to drill a filling hole somewhere, or put a T directly before the res, but would it work?

Or maybe even make one of the barbs a valved T and just open the valve to fill. Or something like that.

If nothing else as a display piece. It might be an interesting way to mod a res into a case. But you would either need a tap to get it secure or a strong arm and a wrench (and alot of luck I would assume)

That's what I'm doing ... mostly.

The inlet and outlet barbs are 10.5mm ID barbs ( slightly larger than most standard 1/2" barbs ) with a DD brass fillport directly at the top. Since mine will be mounted outside of my case, access to the top of them will be easy. If it were an internal mount, I'd most likely install yet another barb out the top of the reservoir ( where the aforementioned DD fillport resides ) to run a hose up to a fillport mounted atop the case.
