Yet ANOTHER Armor log?(56k suckage)

Damn straight it's another TT Armor case mod log.

So I finally got around to buying some black spray paint to paint the innards and outside sheet metal. I really don't know if I got good or bad paint but if worse comes to worse, I lost five bucks. No biggie.

Before I begin the nakedness... Todays sponsor is McDonald's. I can feel my heart nearing it's stopping point with every bite... Delicious...

And now we shall begin. Right now I just have it all stripped and almost ready to be painted. I just have to go sand the metal a little. I'm not trying to make this looks professional or extra awesome. As long as the interior is black and it looks cool regardless, I'm happy.

Teh guts. I killed him.

Naked, but what are those white things?

Q-tips!

I thought of a really good way to make sure the screw holes I WILL be using don't get covered by paint. You take a Q-tip and cut the cotton end off and then stick the stick in the screw hole.

That's all I have for right now and I will be adding more as I go along. Once I finish this delicious double quarter pounder with cheese, I'll start painting.

I'm about to paint my Armor too and that's a great idea. Rep+

Well I've got the paint on and I'm letting it sit out and dry so I'd figured I'd show what I have so far.

All the stuff.

Backside of the entire chassis.

Frontside of the chassis.

Back of the chassis.

Motherboard plate.

PSU plate.

Power/reset button and floppy drive bay.

PCI plates.

Floppy drive front bezel.

I know there's a bit of drippage and bubbles... but once it dries I'll go over those spots and fix em out. But hey, not too bad for a first time painter, eh?

Now just gotta wait about an hour or two for them to completely dry. I figured two cans would be enough but boy was I wrong. I'm all ready through my third can, haven't started on the fourth though.

EDIT: Thanks Godot. You'll notice that a LOT of people paint their Armors black(someone did Arctic White, it was sweet) and it's pretty common, but you can never turn your back from a completely painted Armor. There's a thing about em that keeps making you look.

All right well after a hassle with some wiring and figuring out why the board wouldn't boot up(shortage on a fan wire) I finally got everything in the case and got this thing fired up.

The pictures are horrible but where my case is right now it's really hard to get any good shots.

Tomorrow when I have the energy I'll get some better shots but for today, that's it.

Well I was hoping I would have gotten my HD today so I could post the pics from MY computer, but according to WD, they JUST recieved my drive this morning after a week and a half with "3-day standard shipping" from UPS. I hate them, really I do.

So here's the rest of my pics that I snagged with my new Sony DSC-W90.

Everybody loves ass shots.

Sidepanel on and turned on.

Sidepanel off and turned on.

And finally, the monstrous Tuniq and his love child.

Once I get my HD(another WEEK ) I'll be able to tidy up the wires a little. I can't run the IDE or SATA behind my mobo because they're too damn short(SATA cable BARELY reaches the top of the case).

You know you can buy really long SATA cables. These are 3 feet.
