does this mean that one of the 6-pin PCI-E cables coming from my PSU will undoubtedly have enough power to run 1 of my 7800 GTX's?

What then is the Y-Power cable for? The one that has 2 molex 4 pin connectors that go into a single 6 pin PCI-E connector? I just want to confirm that I dont need to use the Y-Cable.

Oh, i did not know that your psu had those pci express connectors. Yes, by all means use those. The molex to pci-express connector that came with your card is for people who have older PSU's that do not have dedicated connectors.
