Guess its not really the same thing but I allways use filters on my fans. Guess you could put filters under those grills then that would be pretty sweet.

I have those on my rad as well, but since I have my fans pulling air through the rad, i put them on the other side of the rad.You use push-pull config though right max?

Yeah, I actually use them for the front of the case. I have a ufo case I bought a couple years ago that I have the rad mounted in the back inside. So all the air gets drawn thru the front of the case so I put these in the front of the case to filter out dust. Keeps the inside pretty clean (still gotta clean it out though).

Right now I only have pushing fans on it but when I finish my setup I am going to add two more fans to the back of the rad for a push pull. Get the most out of my heater core.

My only problem is that the pieces are a tad too high, and it's a bit too long and I'm out of dremel cut off disks until I can get out to wal mart.

Sounds good to me...Just seal them up with a little silicone if you need to...

I need to use filters I live on a red dirt road and to say its dusty here is kind of an understatement...

I know that feeling man. I smoke and the Blue GTS Stealth I had mounted on top my case was FUNKY TO THE MAX when I finally got around to cleaning it off! lol

Would silicon stick to the shroud well enough that I wouldn't have to use screws to hold it together?

Do you know what coil-stock is? You can get it at most hardware stores in different sized rolls, it's galvanized...Its just real thin metal like you use for roof flashing or making heat and air ducting like the kind in the floor...Any way I cut little 90 degree corners braces out of it and use the contact cement "Goop" on it and it will hold stuff like that together real well...Goop comes in a tube for 4-5 bux and the coil-stock you can get a little roll for 4 or 5 bux...You have to sand off the galvanization on it though to get the Goop to stick....Anyway that stuff will last you through all kinds of mods and it really sticks stuff together well...My fingers are tired now...

Did I just see Snerp come through trying to sex up some circuits......He ain't right you have to watch him...
