New Board! Same ram and components! Different numbers on the bench -

well i got my replacement p5n32-e 680i and clocked it to 3.5ghz same timings of 4-4-4-12 1T and done a ram bench and latency. Only thing that was different was that I used the 1103 bios instead of the 1101.


My numbers astounded me! atleast to me because I was expecting roughly the same #'s. around 9800-9900 mb/s on ram with latency of around 60-70m/s.


well latency hit lower than I expected but nothing outrageously different.

NICE! the newer bios for that board must have fixed a small bug in the memory controller. Thats sweet

Thats really good man. Its amazing when bios engineers get it right how much it can improve something.
