No Cows Were Harmerd In The Making Of This Thread...

Just finished Call of Duty 2. I know it's long overdue, but I took a break from WWII games for a while as I was burned out on them, but I finally picked up this classic, and I have to say I enjoyed it. The game ran well, very nice graphics, and the squad AI wasn't as horrible as many other WWII games. My only real complaints are that it seemed a touch too easy on regular difficulty and that it ended rather abruptly.
As a side thought, I would love to see a game that actually addresses The Battle for Berlin. There very well may be one, but I have never seen nor heard of it. It would of been very cool had they tacked on one last Soviet mission of taking Berlin from the Third Reich. Just my 2 cents.

I found COD2 one of the best games I have ever played. The atmosphere it creates with the bombs and grenades going off is immense, especially with a good sound setup.

It was a fun game and yes, too short

I finished it in about 5 hours on normal settings I think.

Aye, it was a fine play. By the way, does anyone know if there is a game that has the Battle for Berlin as part of the campaigns?

I think one the of the MoH's has you fighting it..

edit: The Allied Assault ones, btw.

editx2: Actually, I'm not even that sure.. But I do remember fighting in some Berlin square in either CoD or MoH.

I've played through it 4 times and it's just as good every time. Although I do find myself wishing it was just entirely soviet That is easily the most fun campaign

Agreed.

Great game, sweet graphics but like mentioned before, it was somewhat short. I figured that there would be an expansion pack for it but none yet.

COD1 ended with the battle of Berlin. I always thought COD1 had a better single player than CoD2. I preffer multiplayer Cod2 though.
