My biggest issue with them is their Disk's. Every one of the games I buy from EA works ONCE and then is unusable, my BF2:SF disk two has a CRC error and they said it was mistreated... how many times do you use disk two?! Ffs, so that was a game I only had for a month. Bought The First Decade, right out of the box CRC errors, thank god I could actually tell it to ignore them. GRAW is buggy, yes, but at least they address the issue with a patch listed of a patch to fix the patch to remove the patch that the third patch tied to counter react the last patch your installing.
Never had any issues with EA's CDs in particular and a couple of my friends have owned all the Fifa games since 1998.
The biggest problem with Ubi's patching is that they patch about 3 times and then forget about the game, no matter how popular the game might have been. For that reason, I worry for Assassin's Creed on the PC.
In the end you can't really blame EA. I've never had CRC errors with a brand new game, ever, EA or not. I just think nearly every publisher that doesn't publish exclusively for PC doesn't provide good support. After all consoles are where the money's at for them.
