If you were building a new home theater/gaming PC and had to choose between a C2D E6600 and a 8800GTS 640 or a Q6600 and a 8800GTS 320, which would you go with?

I would suggest the 640 and the e6600. The 640 will be very good for running high resolutions with large lcd's.
