Biostar 550se +3600, not stable

Thread Starter 
system very unstable whenever i overclocked. It even shutdown/crashes when i used the preset overclock in the BIOS.
Can anyone help?

Can you specify what you did? cpu multi, fsb,....etc

EDIT: It would also help if you also fill out your system specs.

go to "chipset feature" then "cpu features" disable "cool & quiet" for starters. the preset overclocks didn't work for me either.

Do NOT use the preset OC feature. It raises your vcore way to high and will put your temps through the roof.

CPU vid to 1.4v
memory voltage to 2.0v
chipset voltage to 1.65v
Hyper Transport voltage to 1.3v
CPU frequency to 305
K8<->NB HT speed to x3
memory timing mode to MAXMEMCLK
mem clock value to 400
DRAM CONFIG:Trfc0, Trfc1, Trfc2, and Trfc3 to 105ns

MEMORY TIMING. 5-5-5-15-2

that's your HT multiplier. we need your cpu multiplier. if you haven't changed it, it should be 9 or 8(my 3800 is 10)
