Biostar 550se +3600, not stable - Page 2

same way you changed all the rest. but you can only go down. try to keep to round numbers(no .5 stuff) I'm gonna take a wild guess and say your cpu freq at 305 is too high. (where are my notes...i can't find my notes!?!) i think my board crapped out at 290...but can't be sure

I suspect the PS may not be up to the task JMHO.
As said. disable CnQ and also any settings that refer to "Spectrum" too!

found clip board, but no OC notes

I really hate it when someone else cleans up my area

but i have to ask, did you work your way up to that overclock, or make a straight jump? judging from your PM, you're looking for magic numbers. I found my overclock the old fashion way-i earned it!!

we also don't have the same CPU, so my settings wouldn't work anyway. have you read any guides?

i went up 10 mHz at a time, and tested with orthos for 20 minutes each time. whenever it crashed, i upped the volts just a little, and tried again. i just stopped at 270, because i'm still a noob, and didn't wanna mess with the other voltages......just yet

i then tested the 270 with orthos for 30 something hours ...no errors
