Tweak uac is a program that disables the prompting of uac, its not the activation thing that you can do that prevents you from having to activate vista.

As far as that goes I think you can do it indefinatly or atleast for quite a while if you do it right but I could be mistaken I dont really care since I got the retail version.

It isn't off really. It doesn't show anymore alerts but will still block unknown startup programs as well as if something needs admin rights you must manually right click the program and do run as admin or else it won't work.

Yup, that is not what we are trying to achieve. We want UAC on but want to disable programs that we have already manually set to be ok. The option you are doing turns off UAC completely.

Can you do a search for Local Security Policy.. Maybe that'll find it?
