Even if you don't consider IGN the most trusted site, but they still gave it the game of E3 award. It has to be somewhat interesting.

Do you really believe that, or are you just looking to stir up some discussion?

I'll be the first to admit that I am a raving Fallout fan. I'm also a raving Arcanum fan. That said, I'm absurdly excited about Fallout 3, but I am VERY concerned about it being an FPS, especially with the Oblivion engine. Oblivion is already stupidly "glittered up", I just have a gut feeling that it's going to take away a lot from the drab, grey atmosphere of Fallout if everything and it's mother is shiny to the point of blinding. It's really sad that game developers are moving in that direction.

Drop the in-game brightness a few clicks, kill off anything that makes things shiny (like the cursed Bloom... UGH!) and if need-be increase the contrast on your screen a click or two. Turn off the lights in your room, and enjoy.

It's going to be Oblivion with a Fallout type storyline. I think it's reception by the hardcore fanbase will be a bit like with FOT. Mind you, I enjoyed FOT.
