Your average time to complete a WU?

Thread Starter
Just curious how long a Work Unit takes each of you to complete, and generally what your system speeds are set to.

If this is already posted somewhere, I'm sorry I couldn't find it.

I'll start out. Using the regular client on XP my work unit is 1 day, 6 hours.

I'm on a Duel Core E6600 @ 2.4Ghz
with 2GB of PC2 6400 RAM

The thing is that all WU's aren't made equally, so this won't go far

4000frame gromac core takes around 17hrs to complete for my e6700 @ 3.6ghz. I have not started running WU's on the Q4 yet, as i am still in the testing phase of my oc.

*the same gromac core size takes around 8days to complete on my little folder P3 700mhz coppermine. Its more like a 'bender' really...not quite a 'folder'.

Hahah good one.

I have "Allow receipt of work assignments and return results greater than 5MB in size." turned on.

Will this effect the length of my WU? I'm not exactly sure what its changing, but more is always better. ;p

What does that feature do?
