Need a Temp. Monitoring software

Thread Starter
Hi,

I am looking for a temp monitoring software that can run witht Vista x64.
I tried to use Intel's TAT and did not work. I think it is not compatible with 64 bit version.

Tried speedfan but it is meaningless. Could not configure anything..

Pls help.

I have a C2D E6600 on a stock cooling and wating for my Zalman 9700LED to be delivered on Thursday but before that I want to have something working to benchmark the results.

Thanks,
My System

Try both version of CoreTemp
CoreTemo 0.94
CoreTemp 0.95

If temps shows differently on both versions, please tell us.

Also, welcome to Overclock dot net!

Try Speed Fan,
http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
It works really well for me, and is compatible with many CPUs and mobos.

Did you guys read what he/she wrote? TAT doesn't work and SpeedFan isn't telling the user right temps.

If CoreTemp doesn't work for you, try out EVEREST.

Thanks,

Orthos will not tell you your temps. It is a CPU stresser that will put your CPU on load.

TaiDinh - I think Everest seemed to work. One more question thoughtwould you please tell me where I need to go to check the temps? I browsed through all the menu selections on the left yet I did not come across to CPU temps.

Thanks a bunch

You're right, the one I linked you above doesn't tell you the CPU temps. I apologize for that.

Download EVEREST 2007 Beta. It's rared and after you extract it, just go into the folder and open the everest icon. No install needed.

After you have opened the program, on the left side, click on Computer > Sensor and then you'll see CPU temps.

You'll see:
CPU - DO NOT LOOK AT THIS TEMP. Mine says 4C and that's not right. Other users have experienced wrong temps on this part too.
CPU #1 / Core #1 - Look at this temp.
CPU #2 / Core #2 - Look at this temp.
