I cant imagine that just increasing the core clock and memory clock would make/break your PSU.
I did, i upped both the core and the memory by 40 mhz and when i started playing Wow my system rebooted after 30 min. There no was artifact of anysort so its probably my PSU.

Just OC it..........

I didn't know Riva told you how many amps your card was taking. Anyways, software usually doesn't report it correct anyways.

Like I said, I would just OC it, and run 3dmark. If your computer shuts off.....you know you overstepped the line with your psu. If it doesn't, then your good to go.

yeah that score is fine. topping 10k may be a little bit of a challenge, i did it with a conroe and x1900gt, but it isnt as easy with AMD and x1900gt.

I tried ocing it and ran aquamark 3 and my score with the X1900GT at stock speed was 78256 and when i upped around 40 mhz for core and mem i got 80268 and then i tried another 20 mhz and my score was 79745 so why did i got such a low score?

That means that the overclock wasn't stable.

Well, i did go up didn't it? AM3 isn't the most accurate benchmark, its too old.

I'm telling you just pump that OC through the roof and run 3dmark. You are not going to know until you find out for yourself.

Kill every unnecessary process, image quality to high performance, cross fingers.
