wii or xbox 360? - Page 3

I prefer the Wii, i own one and my buddy who has a 360 comes to my house all the time and plays, i go to his house to play his 360, and he asks me to bring the wii. All depends on what you want. I play most games on the PC, but love the controller set-up with a Wii, think it is a step ahead of PS3 and 360.

I like my 360 much better, I bought the wii, played wii sports and zelda for a week or so, got bored, and it hasnt been used since.

No other games out there interest me except ManHunt 2 which is getting censored...

ok guys, thank you so much for replying and for trying to help, i am gonna take some time to carefully think about this for the next couple of days, right now im more leaning towards the xbox since i like those games the most, but i really love the wii controls lol i guess you cant have everything

but i will also ask all of my siblings on which system i should choose.
one thing, i used to have a gamecube and i got so sick of it, so i sold it and got xbox instead, so i duno im afraid the same thing will happen with the wii

but anywawy thank you very much for the feedback guys

but i also think that most the games i like on xbox (gta, halo) will eventually come to the computer, and i have a computer, but the games on wii(zelda, mario party, paper mario) will not

how are the sports games on the wii? i love soccer games(fifa) and madden

XBox 360 =D I have a Wii (got it the day it came out) and I honestly haven't had so much fun as I thought I would've. However, downloading old SNES games is a plus. But yeah, Guitar Hero 2 is out on the 360 and on July 25th (or 27th, I forget) the 80's rock hits version is coming out! Woot!

I dunno why people cry about the Wii's "sucky" controller. I've been playing RE4 Wii Edition for the past 2 weeks now, and the controller is awesome, a lot better than a joystick for aiming. You know why the controls suck for certain games? It's simple, people actually have to use their brain while making gameplay fun on the Wii...it's called creativity, something the industry forgot a while ago. Maybe you guys could throw some creativity into the selection when Nintendo puts out WiiWare.

Oh yeah, the Wii's VC is friggin awesome, that and you have the library of old GC games to play, maybe catch up on the Metroid Prime series in preparation for the new one... Gamestop has GC games for cheap now I bet (I haven't checked into them since I already have a rather extensive library of GC games.)

So, my vote goes to the Wii...I don't have a 360, I will say the 360's controller is amazing, it fits in your hand rather nicely. Of course the graphics are better...that's its strongpoint. but if you're going for something out of the ordinary, the Wii is a good choice. Graphics aren't all there, but hell you've got a PC for eye candy

I've had a blast with mine, I've got RE4 (Revamped Wii controls), WiiPlay, Super Paper Mario, and I had Trauma Center but the disc was screwed up so I had to take it back. I also have Twilight Princess, and it's fun...I've just been occupied with other stuff right now, I'll finish it in the coming weeks.

Well if you never played super smash bros. melee, I'd say wii. just because judging from the amount of time melee was fun for me, brawl will keep you entertained till the xbox 720, wii2 or whatever. RE4, twilight princess, super smash brothers.. monkey ball! I think between those games you and your posse should be entertained for a long time.

The new good news, if you get the X360, is that they just extended the warranty program to 3 years from the date of purchase, fully covered including shipping. So you shouldn't have to worry about getting screwed by the red ring of death, which (according to reports this week) has been affecting as many as 1 in 3 X360s.

True. Developer's can't just slap some motion control onto a game because they think they are obligated to, and expect it to be good. When you play a game that makes poor use of the Wii controls, blame the developer, not the Wii itself.
