GA-965P-DS3 and Ballistix D9's?

I was wondering if the DS3 will have a problem running 4x1GB of Ballistix 6400 4-4-4-12 D9's. I heard that the DS3 have issues with the D9's and running 4GB in general, but all these problems were dated around 6 months ago, not sure if they are still existent. Just want to make sure my sticks will work before I get the board. Thanks.

Just the 1.3 revisions had the problem. The other two are fine, just make sure you have BIOS F7 or newer.

Sounds good then. I heard that it was all the revisions with the issue.

I ran 4 gigs of D9's in version 2 fine. See some sticks that require more than 1.8 volts to run or will not boot. So you have to get a stick of generic ram that runs at 1.8 volts, get into the BIOS then change the voltage to whatever the D9's run at. Then shutdown and put the D9's in and then they work flawlessly.
