Fan Bracket? - Page 2

Doesn't seem like it would be very effective on any passive SB located on the other side of the GPU.
And the 120mm fan wouldn't work well, if at all with a vetical barbed WB and 1/2" tubing.

Nice looking unit though.

Yeah if you could get your WB and everything to fit I would sure like one...I'm like CL and I know Dryad is I'm so sick of a case...I'm ready to nail my mobo on the wall or something and that would give you some greatly needed extra cooling around the CPU socket components....

EDIT: Slade is there a US source for those? I might have to try one of those...Thanks

rofl!! I am either getting a LianLi mobo tray..or screwing the mobo to my desk...either way, is no case FTW! I am wanting another P5K so bahhhdd! I want to build a sick, frankenstein'd-out, fully modd'd rig. Every part in the system will have to be mod'd..and not any chinsy eye-candy ish'..I'm talking cut, soldered, re-wired..whatever..some sort of performance enhancing mod. It is no-doubt going to generate some heat..from eveywheres..so open is best I figure..+ it will be easier to perform all of the needed mods and test and such.

Yeah thats the point I'm at to..Its just way to much to keep it all in the case...I could care less about bling, bling, I just want it out in the open and easy to get to....

Here was my DIY solution. Aluminum from a recycled screen door, two 12"x18" circuit board
blanks, old server 120mm NMB, a little drill press work and $4.86 in nuts/bolts.

For $5.99 @ 10' at Home Depot, it's hard to beat. It has a 2½" bend radius, doesn't stain easily and is extremely hard to kink. It adheres so well to brass/nylon multi barbs that I haven't used clamps on my WB's or res in over a year and half, with no mishaps.

I guess if you can't wedge a 120 into the tubing and GFX cards then by all means buy a queer-looking bracket
