"Best thing for $850" is purely subjective. What do you wish to do with this build? Gaming? Overclocking? A little of both? SLI in the future?

good to go on everything except the PSU.

Go with something that's got more amps on the +12v rail.

I pretty much am a gamer. I want to overclock it as much as i can. i get about 20fps in source games right now so i need an upgrade. I don't plan on using SLI.

If you plan on OCing a lot, get the best PSU you can afford. Fortron is decent, OCZ, BFG, and the other big names better, Silverstone and PC Power & Cooling the best.

I'm very partial to PCP&C myself, and always recommend them to any of my customers wanting a killer gaming rig.
