Gave both my DFI Ultra NF2 boards a wash and they are back in service.

Dried it for 4 hours in the sun. Posted fine, re-installed XP Pro. Overclocked the barton up to 2.5Ghz stable.

^I didn't think that actually worked.

What did you soak it in? Just curious....

Add me to the list!!!!

Tyan S2466 Dual Socket A Motherboard
Dual Athlon MP 2200+ chips @ 1.8GHz
1GB Kingston ECC / Registered DDR266 (soon to be 2GB)
Radeon 9550 by Visiontek
And soon to be MASSIVE hard drive space .

It's going to act as my file server / router, and hopefully a VPN if I can figure out how to set one up.

Just used dishwashing liquid

If you want to do it on the safe side use a non corrosive cleaner like simple green and use distilled water to rinse.

I re-dropped my old SocketA rig into the battle today!
Mobile Barton, 12.5x200FSB, at 1.85V. Cooled by Zalman 7000 Al-cu.

If it dies, i got a 2800+ Tbred to replace it. But i think this lil' AMD will keep working forever at 2500.

im playing with Neo's Suzana Bios's atm on my DFI ultra-B. Currently running my 2800+ Barton (locked) at 200 x 12.5 @ 1.825Vcore. Once I get my 2 mobile chips cranking again I'll be looking to attain high FSB. Maybe even a vdimm mod becuase im limited to 3.3 Vdimm on the dfi. My Sp97 cooler is not making good contact with my cpu's so I've cable tied a Thermalright Ultima90 onto the board. Cooling very well I must say!. Will post my results with my mobiles within the week.
