as far as I know you do not need to hook up anything to your mobo to get the system speaker activated. Also on your picture the system speaker is the round object on the top right part.

The speaker would included in the case. My 900 did not have one, but I added one to hear the beeps.

yeah it's a case included speaker, I was just trying to figured out where to put the thing.

which is what I'm looking for, I've got a 4 pin connector but no place for 4 pins, the manual doesn't even give me a corner to look for it in.
