I have been taken by the hype on new stuff once or twice--and honestly I was not expecting a GTX killer here..

But 8K is lame lame lame...no way aroundit--nothing to say about it except it is unacceptable.

You still beat a stock 8800gts lol

I get 10700 stock, so it IS a great card, your mobo just must be screwing with it...

Actually - I did score 8,369 with a stock e6420 2.13ghz and stock clcoks on my 8800gts 320mb.

My best single card score was 11,355 with 3.5ghz e6420 and 620/1000 clocks on the gts. However, this is under XP and not Vista.

IMHO those scores seem too low to asume they are normal. I would call fault on the Motherboard not being truly compatible with ATI's drivers. especially when throwing an OC'd Quad in the mix. I would consider your score an anomaly.

Either something is wrong with my card, or ATI's drivers are seriously FUBAR.

Sooo... I decided to run the Call Of Juarez benchie. I started it up, and it was ARTIFACTING!!! This was the same OC I had before, completely 3dmark06 stable and artifact free. Temps were fine, 55c.

Then I installed Oblivion. Without HDR+AA on, I get all these weird lines, kinda like a piece of graph paper, but the boxes are rectangular, about 2in tall and 1.5in wide.

And the card doesn't work with any old games like Age Of Empires. Boooooo.

I was thinking of getting this card but now I don't know. Will I be better of with the one that I have or is it worth it to get this ATI HD 2900XT?

Hmm, must have just been a small issue, all fixed now since I reebooted.

@ killerhz I'll trade with you lol
